Top 100 List Updated

My list has changed a lot since I last updated it six months ago. I've removed twenty films and added some new ones, along with a few titles that've spent some time on my list in the past. Also, I have a new film at #1, but it shouldn't be a surprising choice.

Films Removed:
A.I. Artificial Intelligence, All About Eve, Atonement, Bonnie and Clyde, The Departed, L'Enfant, Gattaca, The Graduate, The Lady Eve, A Matter of Life and Death, The Night of the Hunter, On the Waterfront, Once, Psycho, The Set-Up, Smiles of a Summer Night, Sunset Blvd., The Third Man, To Have and Have Not and 12 Angry Men

  1. Nice to see Vertigo moved up the list! For me, that's the best Hitchcock film I've seen.
Also love the new addition of The Seventh Continent, that might just be my favorite Haneke film so far. I recently watched Benny's Video (1992) he directed, and was again wowed.

    1. Vertigo used to be in my top 5, but I hadn't seen it in a while. Glad I rewatched it recently. :)

I need to see Benny's Video, but The Seventh Continent is excellent. It's my #2 Haneke film behind Cache.

  2. I swear, if you tinker around with the order a little bit, it would be as if I wrote this list. Love these pics. Eight Bergmans... that's damn right!

Also, I just watched The Set-Up for the first time recently. Loved it.

    1. Ha, I think you might've looked at the wrong list. I cut one Bergman. :) This is my previously updated list from April. My new one (with a new #1) is on the 100 Fav Films page.

Glad you dug The Set-Up. It's really close to passing The Third Man as my favorite of '49.
